I bought this wheel locally. From what the guy could remember it had to have been made in the 30's or before. Most of it is hardwood, the base is probably pine. Have spent almost 4 days stripping and remain with reddish tinged wood, but I kind of like it that way! Now for the final sanding and oiling, then off to my brothers to have a flyer made. | |
